The artists of the Show and Entertainment sector, the Jesters of Love, are people with artistic talent who are committed to put to good use their skills and experience to witness the joy through music and entertainment.

 On January 13, 2007 at Guidonia Montecelio (RM) the new center City of Joy was born. 24 young people (boys and girls) opened the house: they all come from all over Italy and several other New Horizons centers, being full of enthusiasm, preparing themselves to live a new, great human and spiritual experience of evangelism in various forms…

 

Started as a Prevention centre, in less than a year the Centre has changed its internal structure in order to devote himself mainly to the creation and production of shows, concerts and animations of various kinds, as well as musical productions of various kinds, all aimed at prevention.In fact, it is now the residential centre for the Entertainment and Animation sector and where all New Horizons' artists are experiencing their talents in theatrical and musical self-productions.

 

Since 2009 we have been producing  over 100 events throughout Italy (from Padua to Agrigento, from Foggia to Olbia, we worked so much…) working together with professionals of different experiences.

We succeeded in reaching a total of about 100,000 people through music and spectacle, amusing them, exciting them and telling them stories of lives and letting them reflect the proclamation of the Good News about God's love for everyone.

In the summer of 2009 we released the latest CD Vita che Rinasce: an album of songs that help to open our hearts to pray and praise as well as convey new ways of composing religious  and Christian music.
Within the Jesters of Love the Joymix team was born: a group of young people with artistic talent who are committed to put to good use their skills and experience to witness the joy through music and entertainment.
In these initiatives, the team is often required to collaborate with other groups, ranging from musicians to dancers, from set designers to costume designers, in a word, with all those who have talents to offer. The company began its adventure in 2003, with the humorous show Grazie Mamma ("Thanks Mom"); this year you can listen to his last work done with a CD titled "Fondamentalmente" ("Basically") which will be taken on tour throughout the year in Italy.It's a strong proposal for information, awareness and prevention to youth and adolescent unease that touches, with the language of music and testimony, issues such as anorexia, family problems, fear of life and abortion.

Work at Entertainment and Animation sector is often intertwined with the Communication and Media sector and with the Prevention and Awareness one, especially during special events such as large missions in cities and on beaches.

Entertainment and Animation sector is emerging and developing new initiatives and activities in collaboration with all other branches within the well developed Community New Horizons.
