This vast and interconnected sector has a goal: fighting social, moral and spiritual poverty. People immersed in this poverty are disoriented, confused, dreamless. Nothing defrauds the person, their best potential and boycotted the beauty of his life more than spiritual poverty.
We urgently need to find new ways of training and helping people grow personally, activating trustful and creative human relations, to interpret the social reality through the symbol and the transcendent…

More and more professionals arrive to the Community being attracted by the educational model that Chiara has developed since the beginning of her work

Promotion of Culture

Talking about training and enhancing the value of culture is an incredible challenge
There are three reasons, at least:

• Community work pays particular attention to persons in exclusion and deviance; these two words speak for themselves about the contrast, or rather, the contradiction with the official world of culture. The marginalized and the deviant are naturally excluded and rejected by higher academies, universities, educational circles because they lack the bare minimum in tools to access to the social world;
• The anthropological and social foundation of the Community starts from the strenuous defense of the lowest and the ostracized ones, and it is critical of the increasingly selective and discriminatory approach of Western culture, which considers beautiful, rich and successful people as the most convincing ones;
• The passion for life and growth (passion for education) that animates the Community is important, but it uses poor and low-cost resources: the impossibility of competing with both powerful lobbies and official institutions.

This kind of start urges us to renew the intercultural dialogue for it was born from listening to experiences of different people, dissimilar from those approved by mass media and elite culture.

Today we urgently need a counterculture, which unmasks the prophets of falsehood, highlighting the pitfalls of consumerist illusion and denouncing all forms of deception that the system has invented to keep many young adults prisoners.

Publishing

"Stazione Termiis the best seller of the Community, now in its sixteenth edition, it sets in motion the great adventure publishing New Horizons.

It was 1996. We've published over 14 books in many copies since then. Chiara's style, our foundress, is simple, vibrant and youthful, married with issues of high spirituality and deep knowledge of the human heart, arousing attention and interest from a variety of audiences, heterogeneous in age, in culture and walk of life.

The aim of the text remains clear: reaching the highest number of people as possible, announceing their new way of self-fulfillment that is only possible if everyone brings to fruition the dream that God had when he pronounced his name. For the future we aim at a large number of further publications, ranging from the path to self-knowledge, to the spiritual themes that Chiara offers to all members, from the life stories of many young members, to new research and intervention methodologies, as a result of experience gained in various areas of service.
