Prevention and Awareness
Every year we can contact with almost one million young people in the places where they usually gather: schools, streets, squares, beaches, events, conferences, roundtables, meetings. Four or five times a year we organize missions on the streets: we meet on average 35,000 people.

Communication and Media
Collaborations with means of communication is becoming more frequent and intense: 545 television shows (119 of which have been broadcasted on RAI-TV, the Public Italian Broadcasting Company) and 1220 radio broadcasts. The quarterly magazine Horizons News has a circulation of 15,000 copies, three web sites and various blogs. Sono stati realizzati: 1 DVD and 1 multimedia CDs about the "Cittadella Cielo" Project have been realized, as well as some important events.

Entertainment and Animation
Numerous shows and two musicals were carried out: Termini Station and New Horizons are some of them; they deal with youth problems and have proven how effective they are in raising awareness and prevention. We also made 4 music CDs.

Training, Culture promotion, Books
Meetings, workshops, training packages specifically organized for young people who are training for voluntary work, social work, for engaged couples and newlyweds, adolescents and adults.
Participation in conferences, roundtables, research and cultural insights with a focus on social issues. 14 books have been published so far.

Social Services and International Cooperation
Development of a culture of solidarity, social secretariat activities, promotion of volunteering in places of major social deviance (prisons, hospitals, places of poverty or in social decline). Planning and implementation of projects in Italy and in developing countries.

Economics and Labor
Promotion and enhancement of the educational function of work, planning of work activities which release resources and personal creativity; managing rehabilitation aid and social cooperatives.

Art Expressions
Art expression and valorization through artistic creations such as paintings, icons, sculptures, crafts, design.

Spirituality
All members of the association are offered a spiritual journey rooted in the Gospel, groups of prayer that currently support our initiatives are more than 200.

"Sky Citadels" around the world
Sky Citadels Project: 4 Citadels are being realized in Italy and abroad to welcome and train people.
|
New Horizons Community can count on the availability of about 6,500 people
- including 5,500 supporting friends, more than 1,000 contributors, 412 full-time volunteer members -
and thousands of sympathizers in Italy and abroad.
The Knights of Light are more than 60,000.
